Since the first release in 1996, “Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2” has been updated four times. The previous version (2005) was upgraded in July 2009. Lizz Robb, Yellowhouse Lead Trainer, was an official reviewer for the 2009 Manual and is confident the changes will lead to better use and application of PRINCE2 for our customers. The changes from the 2005 to 2009 versions will impact candidates who have taken their Foundation exam with the 2005 version.
Upgrade from 2005 Foundation to 2009 Practitioner? Due to the degree of difficulty, Yellowhouse will not offer the 2-day Practitioner Upgrade (2009) for PRINCE2: 2005 Foundation candidates. You will need to take the Foundation course again (but not the Foundation exam). The 2009 syllabus and exams are so different that attendance at a full course is required to ensure you can pass the Practitioner exam.
The full Practitioner course is available for a $400 discount for existing Yellowhouse Foundation customers. If you have already passed the Foundation course, Register Here for the full course and the Practitioner exam. If you completed the PRINCE2 Practitioner 2005 and want to refresh the course again, we extend a $750 discount and you can attend all sessions, without the pressure of taking the exams.
