Management of Risk: M_o_R®

M_o_R is the UK Government Management of Risk guide, linked to portfolio, program and project management through PRINCE2, MSP and MoP. This course provides international certification in Risk Management and is aligned with the AS NZS ISO 31000:2009, Risk Management - Principles and guidelines.

You can register for a Foundation Course (3 days) including the Foundation exam, or the full 5 day Practitioner Course. This course uses the new M_o_R 2010 Manual and exams. Course Outline.

PRE-REQUISITES

There are no specific pre-requisites for attending the course or taking the examinations. It is appropriate for managers of any discipline involved at all levels, but attendees should have an understanding of how their business operates.

Delegates are sent a copy of the M_o_R manual prior to the course, pre-reading will increase the chance of success in the examination.

The Practitioner exam can only be taken when a candidate has passed the Foundation exam.

The course is delivered in an entertaining and highly interactive manner with real life examples used to illustrate the subject. There is a high degree of participation, examination preparation and practice.

Duration

The course is an intensive, five-day, practically based event. The Foundation exam will be held on day four and the Practitioner exam on day five.
